Hello all,

I hope this "letter" finds you well into the New Year, perhaps working on resolutions or new attitudes/practices for a better you. I wanted to challenge you all to something that God put upon my heart to share with you. It goes along with our vision for making disciples and sharing God's word as we go along in life and ride, of course. :side: This challenge has something for everybody but most of all encourages us to do two things that are good for us: ride motorcycles and share God's word. Here's how it works:

I call it 19 in 2019. During this year ride your motorcycle 19 times at least. Any ride counts, but riding to work doesn't and try to put some miles into your ride. For those that belong to a local CSBA chapter, those rides definitely count! B) Also, local CSBA chapter people, if you can ride with another CSBA chapter in another state. Take it as a challenge! Yeah, you may have to make a weekend trip out of it. But, go for it; that's what adventures are made of, and from which stories told over dinner come. For those that don't have a local chapter, I would encourage you to look on Facebook at our member list, find one CSBA member that lives in your state or near it and meet up with them at least once this year and ride together. Call this a "stretch goal", but make the effort; you'll find that it is worth it.

Now, how does this go with sharing God's word? I'm glad you asked! :cheer: When you go on a ride, have a verse of Scripture ready to share, maybe something out of Proverbs or Ecclesiastes, if you need some suggestions. Ask God to prepare the way for you and to send someone to you to share His word with them. When it happens, you'll be stoked to do it again. There's nothing like being used by God. ;) Here's the one I'll be bringing with me on my next ride: Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9 The important part about all of this is intention; you want to ride and share God's word. So, go out and do it. Don't let life and stuff get in the way or riding and doing the Lord's work. As you do a ride post it up, either here, (see "add file" under attachments below the message part of the post) or post it up on Facebook. Let's see all the cool places we ride to, the neat people we meet, and the great bikes you see. Get out and go riding. I'll see you out there! :)
