I'm planning on leaving from my house Tuesday morning, heading down the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'll get on it in Waynesboro, VA probably in mid-morning. I will be stopping in Hillsville, VA on Tuesday night. I will leave there on Wed morning and continue down the BRP to the end. I'll then meet up with everyone who will be in Robbinsville on Wed night.

I would love to be able to room with someone to save on costs. Is there anyone that would like a roommate?

I would also like to have someone accompany me down the BRP. It would be nice to have a partner, just in case something happens.

Christy and I will be leaving Saturday morning for eastern NC. We will be there until Tuesday morning thenheading to Hickory NC area for tuesday night and Wednesday. Thursday morning we will work our way into Robbinsville. We are staying off the interstate this whole trip unless we find that we get behind schedule.

Have a safe trip on the brp, we will be on the last section of it on Thursday morning.

Ok.... I have finally gotten my schedule together with the Sgt test interview assessment. I will be arriving at the Rally on Thur around noon; however after dinner I will be driving back home for my Sgt interview assessment on Friday morning. I will be back at the Rally Fri night and stay until Sun. I'm gonna to have a lot more windshield time then I want but I refuse to let the Sgt test mess up the whole Rally for me. I've been looking forward to this Rally for months and will be at as much of it as possible.......

Don't be such a Debbie Downer. We are a week out, it is entirely too early to call that.

My plans are about the same as earlier posted. I plan on arriving at the Hotel on Thur around noon. Planning on riding the Dragon Thur afternoon and hanging out that evening some. I still have to drive home Thur night for my Sgt interview on Fri, but will be back Fri night by 8pm. I will stay til Sun.

I plan on leading a bible study on Sat. night. so if anyone else would like to lead one Thur or Fri that would be great.

Just to give everyone a heads up on some Rally info about the Microtel.

I have reserved the conference room for us Thur, Fri, and Sat night at 7pm for meeting / bible study. I did not reserve it for Wed night because from the forum post the only person there Wed will be Jon.
I was not able to reserve the room in the morning due to the hotel moving their free breakfast into the conference room to have more room.
I was told we could use the smaller room the breakfast used to be served in if needed.
