I will be riding, starting Tuesday, with a Fire Dept. buddy (he also has frequented some CSBA rides). We are going to take in some sights and hit several roads near the Brevard, NC area and Gatlinburg as well. NC 215, 226a, 276.... maybe others.... just some of the roads on our radar.
Our schedule is to ride toward Chimney Rock Tuesday and stay near there that night. Wednesday night we are staying in Gatlinburg. Thursday and Friday night we will be at the Microtel. Saturday evening, we will depart and head toward home and stay near central NC to visit a transportation or rail museum or something like that.
Our pace will be of the sightseeing variety most of our trip prior toward the Gap. I intend to ride in the slower group while at the Gap. If a ride leader is needed for the sluggish.... err.... ahhh.... less spirited paced group, I will volunteer.
Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some of the new guys this year!

Just FYI...The person I spoke with just now (3-20-16 @ 1830) had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the Christian Sport Bike Association or CSBA and blocked off rooms. I can rent the room online for the same ($72.21 for 2 queen beds- non refundable) price, however, the best rate she has is $76/night. I will call back and try again tomorrow.
