Please block off these dates for the fall rally. We are making plans for a rally in Marion, VA on October 7 - 9. We will post more details as we have them.

That will certainly help in preparing the routes if not actually be a route.

There is a Comfort Inn just outside of Marion in Atkins, VA. The room rates will be right around $100 per night which is not cheap but it could be worse and there is not many choices in the area. There are some cheaper hotels but I am not sure of their quality. This is the link for the Comfort Inn

It would be great if someone closer to the area could take care of some of the arrangements. Is there anyone that woul be interested in doing so?

I didn't see the link for the Comfort Inn. It maybe a formatting issue. Also, I think AMA members get a discount at Comfort Inn hotels.

American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) members do get a 20% discount. The code is available through the AMA member website or through literature that was sent to AMA members.

I'm about 2 hours away and can drive up there one day and check out the hotels around Marion and send back a report. The Comfort Inn looks ok but the price is a little high. If the turn out for the rally is like Deals Gap then I don't see a need to block off rooms.

On that note it would be nice if people could start confirming if they are attending our not. We have given plenty of notice of the dates.
