Save the date!!!
The Fall Rally will be held in the Suches and Helen area of GA on October 11 and 12. Moving to the Deals Gap Area on October 13, 14 and 15.
It will be a great time to take in the local color and fellowship with friends, new and old. Lodging arrangements and options will be posted up soon.

FALL RALLY ANNOUNCEMENT- I just reserved a block of 5 rooms at the Days Inn Dahlonega GA, 706-756-6069, October 11th and 12th. Mr and Mrs Mathis, or any other couple looking for one bed, $80. 2 Queen rooms are $85. October 13th and 14th at the Microtel in Robbinsville, 828-479-6772, we have 8 rooms so far blocked off. $78 for a single queen room and $88 for a 2 queen room. Please make all reservations by August 11th. After that, rooms cannot be guaranteed!

I just got back from Deals Gap last week and for the first time decided to head further south into the Georgia mountains passing through Suches and Helen. It was some good riding there and Helen is a cool little town reminiscent of an alpine village. I would love to ride these roads with the CSBA at the rally, but am not sure yet it will be possible. I got the dates marked and am awaiting the release of my work schedule and of course permission from the wife. :unsure:

Any new developments? I'm about to transition in employment, so I don't know what my plans will be.

I have the time free to plan the trip, but it's been quiet on this thread. :(
